- The SWWL is born! President Colin MacKinnon announced today that sign-ups have officially begun, and 16 spots are
avaliable! Each spot consists of 5 wrestlers and 1 manager from the list. Colin Mackinnon says, "This will be the best place on
the web for e-wrestling! Everyone is welcome!"
September 22, 1997
- The first two stables have officially signed up! The New Horsemen, who are composed of Ric Flair, Dean Malenko, Chris
Benoit, Sting, and Steve Austin, with SUNNY as their manager! Also signing up were The Champions Society, which are composed
of Ahmed Johnson, Lex Luger, Diamond Dallas Page, Scott Hall, and Hollywood Hogan, with J.J. Dillon as their manager. (Didn't
Hogan attack Dillon a few weeks back on Nitro? Oh, well.)
- 6 more slots still to be filled up before we start, 14 slots in total! Still a lot of good talent avaliable, but don't worry! The first few
matches are being run with the computer determining the winner, so everyone gets off on a fair start. Even Savio Vega, Alex Wright,
Jerry Lawler and Flash Funk can be winners in the SWWF!
- On another topic, the BIG Monday Night shows look good tonight. Raw comes from MSG and has some great matches planned,
plus a few surprises, and Nitro is rumored to have DDP taking on Hogan, plus a HUGE announcement from the Commish, Roddy
Piper! Any real-world Monday Night or PPV news/slash results are put in dark green, so you know what's SWWF and what's not!
- In tomorrow's update, I'll announce who else has joined, if anyone does, and will briefly recap the Monday Night Wars. See ya!
- We welcome our new stable, Damage Inc! Shawn Michaels, Hunter Hearst Helmsley,
Bret Hart, Owen Hart, and Davey Boy Smith, with Chyna as their manager! (The Triple Threat and the Hart Foundation...I never knew)
- See you tomorrow!
September 23, 1997
- Damage Inc. has changed their name to the Ultimate Hart Foundation.
- Last night, Raw and Nitro delivered solid shows, but Nitro had too much hype. The announcement by Piper wasn't really that
big, just that Luger will take on Hall at Havoc, with Larry Z. as the ref. Disco Inferno is the new TV champ. Raw delivered a nice Stone
Cold Stunner to Vince, Cactus Jack and HHH went at it in a terrific brawl, and Raw finally stole a page from Nitro's book and had a
big fight as a ending. Nitro won the ratings, though.
September 27, 1997
- Busy past couple of days for the President, with school and all... Still, a big update today!
- A new stable has been born! Say hello to Marc Mero, Mankind, (Or is he Dude Love or Cactus Jack???) Vader, Brian Pillman
and Goldust, the Wild Men, with Captain Lou Albano as their manager!
- Speaking of stables, I decided that having 16 stables at one time is too much, so the maximum number is down to 12, and as soon as
join, we're in business! Maybe Monday?
- I put up a TNM page, with TNM 6.2 ready to download! (Not yet...it takes a LONG time to upload a 500K file to Fortune City. I did put up where you can download TNM 6.2, as well as fixed the link for the TNM Homepage. I might
upload it Sunday or Monday, if I happen to have an excellent Net Connection that day.)
- I may have more updates today or tomorrow...
- I knew it, another update! Another stable has been born! The New Wolf Pack is on the attack with Animal, Hawk, Kevin Nash,
Curt Hennig and the "Macho Man" Randy Savage! Of course, Elizabeth is their manager. Two new stables in one day...maybe
someone will make it three?
September 30, 1997
- The flashes look good so far, guys! I put up a Challenge Board, so that others
can see challenges that stables have made. A challenge MUST be answered before the
match is signed.
- Come on...we need one more stable to have a card, and seven slots are left!
If we have a person sign up tonight or tomorrow, our first card will be Thursday
or Friday! Sign up now!
October 1, 1997
- YES! We are ready to begin, with 2 slots filled in the past 24 hours! The new
stables are the Lightweight Connection, with Flash Funk, Brian Christopher, Taka
Michinoku, The Great Sasuke, and Ultimo Dragon. Mr. Fuji manages this group. The other stable is Money's Inc. (Obviously Ted Dibiase manages this stable) with Booker T, Stevie Ray, Sid, The Undertaker and Jim Neidhart.
- The first card is Thursday Night! Make sure you answer to challenges, or I will schedule the matches myself!
- There ARE five slots sill open, you know!
- {Oh, by the way, real life news now appears in brackets. Nitro beat Raw in the ratings war, 4.0 to 2.7. A good performance by Raw, though.}
- See you Thursday, when I'll tell you the card! Bell time is 8:00 P.M! More on that tomorrow!
